moving closer ministry

Relationships are very important to me, so I pray we can get to know one another personally during our time together. Please come and introduce yourself and let's visit some.

I am married to Michael—my high school sweetheart. I call him my high school sweetheart because I was in love with him in high school, even though he was in college and kind of thought I was a cute little kid; however, my mojo worked and now we've been married 25 years.

We've been involved in all sorts of ministry during our marriage—from being pastors to church planting to retreat ministry. Currently, we own and operate a bed and breakfast in Fredericksburg, TX, where Michael enjoys ministering to everyone who steps on our place. I, on the other hand, hesitate to call it a bed and breakfast, because I don't even want to hint that I might be making you breakfast. Not gonna happen. It's more like a guest house. Super fun times though.

Besides that, we are each involved in missions, retreats, and loving our neighbor.

I have spent most of my adult life being a mom to three kids. They have all grown up and I say that with mixed emotions. I think I was a better mom when they were little and couldn't express their opinions. My control freakiness is so apparent right now. God and I talk about it a lot.

Anyway, that's a tad about me. I love Jesus. I love His Word. I love teaching it too. I love honesty about where we are and hope that we can grow and change. Not too far behind those, are my other loves: Mexican food, coffee with friends and being in bed by 9:00pm.
